Initiatives & Programs

The Coalition has established four key initiatives that support the fulfillment of our mission.  These are listed below.  Additionally, the Coalition provides programming and activities that support our initiatives.  These can be accessessed by clicking on the links found to the right.

Support of Educators

The Coalition works to support Rhode Island educators who currently, or would like to, offer personal finance education in their classrooms. 

Support of Students

The Coalition designs, organizes, promotes and executes programs and activities that directly engage students with the purpose of making personal financial education fun, hands-on, relevant, and accessible. 

Support of Partners & Stakeholders

The Coalition works to advance the fulfillment of Partner and Stakeholder missions by recruiting partners, providing discussion forums, providing a central information point of contact, and promoting offerings. 

Building Awareness

The Coalition words to increase the awareness of the need for increased youth personal financial education among target audiences and the general public.
