We are excited to announce that RI Jump$tart Coalition will be offering nine (9) summer programs (all free and online) in 2020 through the RI Department of Education SAIL program. RI Jump$tart’s FROG financial literacy programming represents “Financial Responsibility and Opportunity Gain-Seekers.”
Here is information about RIDE’s SAIL program: “SAIL with PrepareRI (SAIL: Summer Academy for Interactive Learning) The Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE), is offering distance learning opportunities for public school students enrolled in grades PreK – 12 from June 22, 2020 through August 28,2020. This is a temporary program designed to enhance the educational opportunities to our students who suffered learning losses during the peak of Rhode Island’s COVID 19 health crisis. SAIL has the potential to provide distance learning summer-long classes that are the equivalent to a course credit, summer-long opportunities that are not equivalent to a course credit, weekly or bi-weekly workshops and/or boot camps, daily reoccurring programming, and/or one-time programming that provide students the opportunity to participate in learning experiences academic or enrichment experiences.
